Māori and Pasifika Trade Training

We are currently looking for both wāhine and tāne to take the challenge and join our kaupapa!

All who complete 6 weeks into their course will receive their very own Trades Warrior t-shirt!

Potential courses will be in Forestry, Carpentry, Hospitality, Painting, Horticulture and Farming

Our kaimahi bring expertise in working with scholarships and ākonga registered in trades training. Te Matarau Education Trust works throughout Te Tai Tokerau (Northland Area) with Māori and Pasifika who are registered under Te Matarau Education Trust.

We know there is demand for our people aged 16-40 to enjoy fees-free training. A more diverse skilled trades workforce is frequently called for, with many opportunities for Māori and Pasifika people when they enter trade training.
